Each person has a digital identity, separate from their human identity. Drawing from Legacy Russell's concept of ''Glitch Feminism,'' our digital identities are free from the restrictions of physicality. They are not tied to race, gender, class, ability, etc. They are uninhibited by the limitations of memory, or senses. Instead, they are the endless digital manifestation of our brains. Through our digital identities, we intentionally form physical and aesthetic versions of our brains, opinions, and feelings. Cyberspace expands our minds, our connections, our thoughts, our inspirations, and our individuality. However, the freedom of expression provided by cyberspace is not free from judgement of criticism. In fact, our digital identities are our most raw forms, separate from the inaccurate judgements brought about by the body. Through cyberspace, we translate our minds into something physical. Judgement based on digital identity is all the more affecting, because it cuts directly to something deeper than just the surface.
